New booking system incoming!!
For the attention of all members
As we mentioned at membership renewal in September, we would be changing the system we use to book and pay for courts.
Time moves on and we are now ready to implement the new system and from Sunday 2nd February we will switch to a new booking and payment system developed and run by Wazygoose. This system is successfully used by a number of squash clubs throughout the region, so we felt that it was the one for Norton to use. When the system is up and running, every member will be given 5 credits which will equate to 1 free court.
A demonstration of the new system has been arranged for Sunday 26th January at 6pm in the club. Court 2 has been booked to allow space for as many people as possible.
All members are urged to attend.

Reasons for the change:
  • The existing booking system is old and less efficient and is no longer supported.
  • Light meters are no longer manufactured and maintenance is an issue.
  • Payments with pound coins is becoming more difficult due to bank branch closures.
We would like to urge all members to attend the demonstration as it will be a time for any questions you may have to be answered.
The Committee.

Xmas Handicap 2020

Thank you to all who took part in our annual Xmas Handicap Competition this year, as always we had a great turnout and it was especially pleasing to see some of our newest members getting involved and enjoying themselves! There were a lot of very close matches with many finishing within just one or two points, exactly what we want to see from the handicap format!

Congratulations to our Pairs Competition winners Andy Wesson & Ian Clarke Johnson and runners up Paul Langley & Richard Harrison and to our Singles Competition winner JJ Kean and runner up Steven Conway
